Poker Update (and more)

The fourth hand I check from the big blind with 10-3. The flop is 10-7-3. Long story short, I double up. I was ahead early and kept a huge lead until we were down to four players. Lots of all-ins, bad beats, good beats, excitement and drama, and I can hardly remember any of it. Heads up we were even, I called his all-in bet with A-4. He had 7-2, end of story.

Tonight: $120
Running Total: $328

So why can’t I remember the big hands? There were so many interesting ones. It’s because I’m exhausted. I just want to write this post and hit the sack. Today the two-year old turned into a three-year old. This is what I’ve eaten today:
Huge half-and-half (aka black and white) cookie. A special breakfast for the birthday boy and his family.
Two handfuls of animal crackers
One bag of potato chips
One hamburger, with fries
After work, it’s off to Chuck E Cheeses.
Pizza
Fries
Root beer
After that, home again.
A few mouthfuls of cake.
At poker, a few handfuls of Tostitos and potato chips

The most nutritious thing I ate all day was the greasy bread of the hamburger bun. Yuck. It had already been a full day when I went to poker. Then the game went longer than usual, I had nothing good in my body. I should get bonus points for winning in that condition. Also, the five-year old starting kindergarten means that we’ve moved up our schedule another 30 minutes in the day. I have a whole ‘nuther rant about kindergarten starting at 7:30 am, but I’ll save that for another post.

Tomorrow I’ll get to the tantalizing Brady vs. Belichick question. But for now, to bed!
