Fingernail clippers are concave, to fit the curve of your fingernail. Why would a toe clipper be different? I don’t understand this. My toenail still curves outward.

I don’t know, but I borrowed my mom’s while visiting her on vacation and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Every time you clip it just creates two more dagger-sharp points on your nail. It must have been designed by a sadist.
I’ve never seen ones like this. The other images on the web look to be right.
