Stop Saying “Happy 4th”

The holiday is Independence Day, not July 4th. It commemorates England’s colony deciding to secede, not an arbitrary calendar day. You don’t say “Happy 25th” on Christmas, do you? You don’t say “Happy 1st” on New Years Day, do you? You shouldn’t say it on Independence Day either.
