Up! is fantastic. If you aren’t close to crying a few times during that movie, there’s something wrong with you. Good filmmaking is good filmmaking, regardless of the media. That’s all I got to say.

I remember crying during Lion King, and being really pissed off about it, because I felt that the movie hadn’t earned my tears. Up, however, earned them.
The silent sequence early in the film showing the life of the couple together is brilliant. Sometimes you just don’t need words to tell the story, or to bring a tear to your eye.
